DIY Marbled Paper Halloween Art Project for Kids
The baby bat screamed out in fright,
Turn on the dark!
I'm afraid of the light.
- Shel Silverstein
My girls are big into Halloween. It is a holiday that involves two of their favorite things: dressing up and sweets. What’s not to love? They start thinking about their Halloween costumes THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS. My husband finds this very, very odd... but like clock work, December 26th rolls around and three of us (holiday lovin' weirdos) begin hashing out what “they will be this year”. All of this to say, this post may be a tad early (41 days, but who's counting) for you, but I've had Halloween on the brain for the last 268 days... so here we are.
Materials:
printed Halloween templates (see form below) or you can draw your own
plastic putty knife or a a piece of cardboard for scraping
skinny dowel or chopstick for swirling
butcher or cafeteria tray for holding shaving cream (the tray should be big enough to fit your paper)
